Kelley talks about an experiece he had recently where the purchaser came back after a home inspection and asked for a reduction in price based solely on the home inspection that was done. They did not hire a contractor to justify their number for the price reduction, as the home inspector is not allowed to give an opinion on estimated replacement costs or repair costs.
